Tanla Solutions net profit down

Hyderabad, Nov. 2

Huge fall in overseas revenues has pulled down the net profit of Tanla Solutions to Rs 10.53 crore in the quarter ended September 2009 against Rs 70.53 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The contribution from overseas operations fell to Rs 88.54 crore in the quarter against Rs 204 crore, Mr D. Udaykumar Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director of Tanla, informed the Bombay Stock Exchange. The gross revenue declined to Rs 90.67 crore from Rs 212.42 crore. The earnings per share stood at Rs 1.05 (Rs 7.05). For the six-month period ended September 30, 2009, the revenue was Rs 179 crore as against Rs 381 crore in the comparable period the previous year. - Our Bureau
