AP revamping Health Works Dept

The Andhra Pradesh Government is working on a comprehensive human resources policy to revamp the way the Department of Health Works. Mr K. Rosaiah, Chief Minister, said the revamp was necessitated to effectively tackle the spread of diseases such as dengue, malaria, A (H1N1) and other vector borne diseases. “We need long-term solutions to address this problem,” he said here in a press release. He discussed the modalities for such a change in the human resources policy at a review meeting on Tuesday. The Government is worried because dengue is spreading to several parts of the State. “So far, eight people died and 782 cases have been reported,” the release said.
