India and Sweden are likely to exchange of understanding (MoUs) on environment cooperation and defence on Thursday, the Swedish Ambassador to India, Mr Lars-Olof Lindgren, has said. The Swedish Prime Minister, Mr Fredrik Reinfeldt, and the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, will hold bilateral talks here, a day before the tenth edition of the India-EU Summit slated for Friday. Sweden holds the rotating presidency of the European Union till the end of the year. “Bot h leaders may have exploratory talks on how cooperation can be enhanced in various areas. There are some investment-related issues as well. Sweden also has a lot to offer on technology. There is also scope for more Indian investments into Sweden,” Mr Lindgren told Business Line.
