Bangalore, Nov. 5

HP today announced a new ‘infrastructure convergence’ solution software that aims to help businesses thrive in unpredictable times by seamlessly scaling up and down as the need dictates. “What we have today in businesses is an IT sprawl with silos of resources where IT spends are focused on maintenance instead of innovation. But organisations need their whole infrastructure to converge with the elasticity to scale applications and resources up and down de pending on the business inflection point, in order to thrive in unpredictability,” said Mr Durgadutt Nedungadi, Director, HP Enterprise Business, India. HP’s ‘converged infrastructure architecture’ integrates servers, storage, networking, power and cooling systems through a management software which provides a flexible environment for innovation, shared service management and optimised use of resources. –
