Maytas Infra bags Rs 790-cr order

Our Bureau

Hyderabad, Nov. 5 Maytas Infra Ltd has won the Pune-Sholapur road contract worth Rs 790 crore from IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd (ITNL).

ITNL was awarded the work of four-laning the Pune-Sholapur section of NH-9 in Maharashtra on a DBFOT (Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer) basis by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

The project is to be completed in 20 months.

This award is a major win for Maytas Infra as it was not able to bid for any contract the last several months after the collateral damage it suffered due to events relating to Satyam.
