South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has been awarded the trophy of `First member 100 Million Tonne Club,' according to a company release. The trophy was received by Mr P.K. Roychowdhury, Director (Technical), SECL, from Mr Sriprakash Jaiswal, Union Minister of State for Coal, at the Coal India Foundation Day function held here recently. Mr Kalyan Banerjee, Member, Coal Consultative Committee, Mr C Balakrishnana, Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Mr Partha Bhattacharyya, Chairman, Coal India Limited, among others, were present, the release added. - Our Bureau
