RMAI's first lifetime award

Chennai, Nov. 11

The Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI), the industry body devoted to furthering the cause of rural marketing, has decided to confer the first RMAI Lifetime Achievement Award on Mr R.V. Rajan, Chairman, Anugrah Madison Advertising Pvt Ltd and Immediate Past President of RMAI. The award is being given for his association with rural marketing and communications for over three decades during which he has made significant contribution to promoting the cause of rural marketing. According to Mr Pradeep Kashyap, President of RMAI, "RMAI decided to recognise Rajan's role in spearheading the formation of the association and also for steering it for four years as the Founder-President." The award will be given to Mr Rajan at a special function to be held in Chennai on November 27. - Our Bureau
