The Hindu Business Line : Infosys-NVIDIA centre set up

Infosys Technologies and NVIDIA have set up the Infosys-NVIDIA Technology centre at the Infosys campus to develop NVIDIA CUDA technology-enabled software solutions. The technology allows developers to accelerate the development of applications, thereby boosting the performance level. Through this partnership, Infosys will focus on accelerating its application development process, the company said.. Infosys will also work with its clients to convert their applications onto the NVIDIA CUDA platform. This will offer value to customers by considerably decreasing the number of conventional server hardware at data centres, the company added. - Our Bureau
