Kochi, Nov. 23 The inaugural ceremony of the Third Season of the Grand Kerala Shopping Festival, which has ushered in resurgence in the trade and commerce sector of the State, will be held on December 1 at Kannur.

Around 4,700 shops from all over the 14 districts have registered so far for the Shopping Festival which lasts for 45 days from December 1 to January 15 next year.

Compared to centralised shopping festivals held in other countries, in GKSF big and small shops from towns and villages can register in the shopping festival and increase their business.
