Software to select jewellery at Kochi expo

Kochi, Nov. 23 Choosing jewellery is lot easier now with the concept of e-counters. The Ahmedabad-based D’Soft Infotech Pvt Ltd has introduced new software to select jewellery for the customers at the second edition of Kerala Gem and Jewellery show that concluded here.

The process is very simple. Just stand in front of the e-counter. Select your best pose by touching the touch screen monitor. Choose the jewellery of your choice and you have the comparison of your own photos with different necklaces.

According to Mr Shaudhan Desai, Chief Executive Officer, D’Soft, the e-counter also has capabilities of helping customers in choosing the best jewellery for them. When a customer comes with an intention to buy jewellery, they can easily choose items. Once they have stated their choice on the screen, the system will offer them products that will evenly distribute the budget within all the selected items so that they end up making the right choice.

The customers can choose between English, Hindi and local languages to operate the system with. Such e-counters will attract younger generation to come to jewellery stores, he said.

D’Soft has a vast experience of providing jewellery retail management software to more than 3,000 jewellers across the country. Jewellery retail has been offering innovation only in terms of varieties and designs since years, but a technological innovation that could provide a unique experience to the consumers.
