Kaku Nakhate to be India head for Bank of America-ML

Mumbai, March 11

Ms Kaku Nakhate will take over as Country Head (India) of Bank of America-Merrill Lynch.

“Ms Nakhate joins from JP Morgan where she was Vice-Chairman of JP Morgan India. Prior to that, Ms Nakhate held several senior positions in global markets and equities at DSP Merrill Lynch,” a Bank of America Merrill Lynch release said.

Ms Nakhate will replace Mr Kevan Watts, who plans to retire later this year.

Ms Nakhate will report to Mr Brian Brille, President, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Asia Pacific.

“We have an exceptionally strong franchise in India with tremendous opportunities across all of our businesses,” said Mr Brian Brille.
