Usha Comm tie-up with inCode

Our Bureau

KOLKATA: Usha Communications Technology (Usha Comm), a company engaged in the development of convergent billing software solutions for cable, wireline, wireless and IP service providers, has announced the setting up of a working demonstration environment for its advanced wireless billing capabilities in association with the California-based inCode Telecom Group and The Management Network Group (TMNG).

According to a press release issued here, the demonstration laboratory, located in La Jolla, California, provides neutral, real-world testing ground for next generation wireless services, technologies, support systems and applications.

UshaComm's Wireless Business Support System, — including customer care & billing and content billing & settlements — has been implemented at the inCode/ TMNG laboratory as part of a ``best-of-breed operations support systems architecture''. Initially structured for a 1 X RTT CDMA network, the laboratory will eventually incorporate GSM/GPRS and UMTS technologies also, the release states.
