LIC premium

It is surprising to note that the Life Insurance Corporation is charging 5 per cent extra premium for ordinary monthly direct payments. It is self-evident that it is not interested in the lower income group and economically weaker sections, such as labourers, construction workers and others. If the organisation continues to charge 5 per cent extra as administrative charges, private operators may snatch this segment from LIC.
