Apollo clinic in Saudi Arabia

CHENNAI, April 18

APOLLO Health and Lifestyle Ltd, (AHLL) a fully-owned subsidiary of Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd, has tied up with Al Rajhi Banking Group of Saudi Arabia to set up Apollo Clinic in Saudi Arabia. The first of these clinics will be in Al Khobar.

An agreement to this effect was signed between Dr Pratap C. Reddy, Chairman, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd, and Sheikh Sahd Al Rajhi, Chairman, Al Rajhi Banking Group.

According to a press release, the Al Rajhi Banking and Investment Corporation has a primary health clinic at Al Khobar, which will now be called `The Apollo Clinic'.

The clinic will cater to the day-to-day healthcare needs of a family, offering specialist consultation services, diagnostic services and preventive health check-up packages. It will also have a 24-hour pharmacy.

Initially, AHLL would provide assistance to manage the clinic. The scope of services would include providing strategic inputs in the areas of business development and marketing as well as know-how and technical services in recruitment, training and service quality standards.
