Live debate on Doordarshan, Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Doordarshan-Thiruvananthapuram will telecast live a serialised debate on topical issues. An official spokesman said that the first episode to be aired on May 15 will discuss the controversial ban imposed on artistes by the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce seeking to prevent them from working for serials on the small screen.

Arguments for and against the ban will be aired from 7.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. that day. This will be followed up with similar programmes every Wednesday. The programme is being directed by Mr R. Rajendran.
