Karnataka: Neolithic settlement found

BANGALORE: A residential site, stone weapons, idols and pottery belonging to the Neolithic period have been found in the Chitradurga district.

The team, led by Mr Ramadasa Reddy, a history lecturer, also found brick walls used for the construction of a Buddhist temple during the Satavahan period.
