Software Corporate Results - Software DSQ Software net loss at Rs 72.06 cr Our Bureau
CHENNAI, Aug. 29 THE city-based DSQ Software has reported a net loss of Rs 72.06 crore for the 18-month period ended June 30, 2001, as against a net profit of Rs 126.87 crore in the same period during last accounting year ended December 31, 2000. Total income was Rs 325.18 crore (Rs 528.51 crore), expenditure was Rs 271.53 crore (Rs 316.85 crore), interest was Rs 12.39 crore (Rs10.45 crore) and depreciation stood at Rs 113.32 crore (Rs 74.34 crore). The company in its notes to the financial results has said, "the balance after providing for the diminution in value of investment amounting to Rs 70.20 crore in the profit and loss account".
