Maars board to mull rights, FII limit

CHENNAI: A meeting of the board of directors of Maars Software International Ltd is scheduled to be held on September 4 to discuss and consider proposals for a rights issue at the ratio of 1:1 and to increase authorised capital from Rs 50 crore to Rs 75 crore.

The board will also consider another proposal to increase the investment limit of Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) from the present 40 per cent of the paid-up capital to a higher limit, says a company notification to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
