Now, interactive watches for kids

NEW DELHI, Nov. 27

TIMEX Watches has launched a new range of interactive gaming watches for kids in India. This new range of watches, which will enable children to test their computer gaming skills, is available in three categories - Timex Power Fighter, Timex Wise Guy and Timex Wrist Rave.

These watches, which are already available in the international market, have features such as animated games, data banks to store numbers, stopwatch, alarm and timer.

Mr Kapil Kapoor, Managing Director, Timex Watches Ltd, said, "The fantastic response these watches have received from kids all over the globe have encouraged us to introduce them in India. These watches not only entertain kids but also help them improve their computer skills and hand-eye coordination making them tick with the times."

The Timex Power Fighter, for instance, has features such as real-time action fighting, options to test one's skills and strategic ability and so on.

On the other hand, the Timex Wise Guy range is equipped with features such as Daily Fortune Cookie, Animated Bob and Bill Cartoon Show with 15 different cartoons, love-me-love-me-not games, a face ball challenge to test hand-eye coordination and an angel or devil game. It also offers an option to assign faces to friends from the face library, a data bank to store 10 telephone numbers, as well as a stop watch, alarm and timer.

These watches are priced from Rs 995 onwards and will be available across the country.
