COLGATE-Palmolive India Ltd is riding on the cricket fever.

The company has launched a promotion called `Collect your cricketer' whereby on the purchase of a `best ever' Colgate Dental Cream pack, a consumer gets a miniature figurine of India's top cricketers.

The company has signed up with Saurav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Yuvraj Singh, Mohammed Kaif, Ajit Agarkar, Dinesh Mongia, Virendar Sehwag, Anil Kumble, Zaheer Khan, Ajay Ratra and Ashish Nehra for this promotion.

The company is also offering a range of prizes including tickets to the World Cup finals in South Africa and other cricket memorabilia. To be eligible for a prize, consumers need to send in two empty cartons to the company.

Says Mr Vikram Kaushik, Executive Vice-President, Marketing, Colgate Palmolive (India) Ltd, "By encouraging children to build their collection, this will further strengthen loyalty for the brand."
