NEW DELHI, Dec. 18

AMADEUS, global distribution system and travel industry technology provider, today announced the launch of Amadeus Vista, the first fully browser-based reservation system.

The new system will provide travel agents in the country access to an easy to use graphical interface for making travel reservations on the entire range of Amadeus travel distribution products. Amadeus Vista simplifies the overall travel reservation process for a travel agent by replacing complex and hard-to-learn entries with easy to use browser-based click on functionality.

It also provides a single point entry to a complete range of Amadeus products which include access to Amadeus air, car, rental, hotel reservation, cruise, ferry and insurance products. This allows travel agents to offer a complete travel solution to the end-user and build efficiencies.

"Amadeus Vista will enable travel agents to focus on their core competencies more efficiently while eliminating training costs, enhancing productivity and opening new revenue generation opportunities," the Managing Director, Amadeus Indian Subcontinent, Mr Ankur Bhatia, said.
