Ravi Sharma to head Alcatel in India

NEW DELHI:Mr Ravi Sharma has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Alcatel India. He replaces Mr Michel Vetil who is retiring from the company.

Mr Sharma will also be heading the company as the Country Senior Officer (CSO) for Alcatel's India and Nepal operations from January 1, 2003. Till recently, Mr. Sharma was Regional Director of London-based satellite operator EuropeStar, a joint venture of Alcatel.
