LIC licence to Corpn Bank

MANGALORE, Dec. 18

WITH the Mangalore-based Corporation Bank having secured the corporate agency licence to sell products of the Life Insurance Corporation of India, the Zonal Manager of LIC, Hyderabad, is to officially hand over the licence to the Chairman and Managing Director of Corporation Bank, Mr K. Cherian Varghese, at the bank's corporate office here on Thursday.

The first life insurance policy distributed through the bank would be handed over to the client by Mr Varghese, at a function organised to mark the occasion, according to a Corporation Bank release.
