TCS, Clarinox join hands for Bluetooth tech

HYDERABAD, Dec. 19

TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) and Clarinox Pty Ltd, Australia, a provider of embedded system solutions, have announced an alliance to offer comprehensive Bluetooth products and services to clients globally.

Dr Ranbir Gupta, Head of wireless technologies and telecom practice at TCS, said the company has recognised the need to actively participate in Bluetooth wireless technology and provide value added services to its customers.

TCS said that Clarinox was selected as the alliance partner after considerable review of companies offering Bluetooth capability.It presented the best opportunity to TCS for adding Bluetooth to their system integration services.

Bluetooth is a short-wave radio frequency based technology that allows devices to communicate without wires over short-range networks. The distinguishing characteristics of this technology are small footprint, low cost, low power consumption and secure communications. It has the capability to revolutionise connectivity between many electronic devices in a range of applications.

Based in Melbourne, Clarinox provides Bluetooth technology and embedded systems solutions, covering both digital hardware design and software development.
