Global roaming through Hutch

BANGALORE, Dec. 19

HUTCHISON has announced the launch of the international roaming facility for its prepaid customers in Karnataka. Hutch prepaid customers can now travel across the world and remain connected without having to change their handsets or numbers.

Hutch provides the widest international roaming coverage across 102 countries and is the only cellular service provider who provides roaming to China, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, Maldives, among others. This also includes seamless roaming across the US without changing handsets.

The prepaid customers can receive calls and send or receive SMS in all these countries that Hutch has a roaming agreement with.

Hutch has launched the product pack with international roaming built in as a default feature. The customer can buy the pack at Rs 495 and will be charged a monthly fee of Rs 100 to avail the international roaming facility.

Speaking on the latest offer from Hutch, the Chief Executive Officer of Hutchison Essar South Ltd, Mr Rajiv Sawhney, said, "It is our endeavour to provide the best technology and quality services that benefit our customers."
