At a press meet here, he said the company had recently appointed two more dealers in Andhra Pradesh at Rajahmundry and Eluru and was poised to appoint 60 more exclusive dealers in the south.

He said the company had an existing network of 285 dealers and 300 sub-dealers.

Hot air balloon shows and rides would be organised at Eluru (December 21, 22), Visakhapatnam (December 24, 25), Kakinada (December 27, 28), Vijayawada (December 30,31) and Hyderabad (January 5, 6 & 7).

He said the company would launch Hero Smart, the country's first 100 kmpl four-stroke bike, on January 14. It was designed by the Italian agency, IDEA, and the engine was developed in collaboration with Briggs & Stratton, US.
