MTR launches soups

NEW DELHI: Consumers can now enjoy four new variants of soup following the launch of MTR Foods Ltd's Simply Tomato soup, Spicy Tomato soup, Mulligatawny soup and Spinach and Carrot soup.

The MTR Soup concentrate claims to be "natural and retain better flavour of vegetables and spices as compared to other conventional soup formats". Also, it does not contain Mono Sodium Glutamate or Ajinomoto, a chemical widely used in packaged food. The Simply Tomato soup and Spinach and Carrot soup are priced at Rs 22 each for a 250 gram pack while the Spicy Tomato soup and Mulligatawny soup are priced at Rs 25 each for a 250 gram pack. Each 250 gms pack serves 5 members. The product will be available from the second week of December.
