AV Expo to showcase audio tech

NEW DELHI: India's largest audio visual and hi-fi exhibition, the AV Expo is being held in the Capital during December 20-22.

An annual event organised by Tata Infomedia, is aimed at increasing the interaction between the industry and end users. The expo will showcase the latest technologies and gadgets, and will have participants from over 60 international companies including the likes of Bose, B&W, NAD, Nakamichi, Onida, Jamo, LG, Sony, Onkyo, Samsung among others."The AV Expo will be the one-stop shop to gather knowledge about the biggest breakthroughs in the hi-fi and video category", says Mr Hoshang S Billimoria, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Tata Infomedia Limited.

According to industry officials, the high-end audio market in India is estimated at approximately Rs 80 crore and is seeing an annual growth of over 50 per cent.
