i2 Tech appoints India committee

COIMBATORE: i2 Technologies Inc, in the value chain management solutions space, has announced the appointment of its India Operating Committee (IOC).

The goal of this committee, according to a release from i2, would be to provide overall vision and leadership for all India-related operations and ensure close alignment and execution against the strategic direction mapped by i2 headquarters. The team would work towards strengthening i2's image by building the brand in India.

The team members — Mr Austin Thomas - Country Head, Solution Centre, Mr Sankalp Saxena - Country Head, Supplier relationship Management, Mr Balakrishnan Rangarajan - Senior Director, Content Operations, Mr Firdosh Debara - Vice-President (Finance) and Mr J.M. Prasad - Vice-President, Human Resources, would be the driving force of i2 Technologies in India, the release said.

``We have created a highly competent India leadership team with the right set of skills and experience which will enable i2 to deliver enhanced value to global customers from its India operations,'' said the President of the Worldwide Solutions Development, Mr Pallab Chatterjee.
