KOCHI, Dec. 31 THE preliminary round of the annual Ad Club-Business Line quiz will be conducted at Sify cyber cafes at Valanjambalam, Esplanade at Convent Junction and Kairali apartments in Panampally Nagar at 10 a.m. on January 5. Simultaneously, the online quiz will also be conducted in 75 cyber cafes in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and New Delhi. The winning team from each centre of this online quiz will participate at the final round to be held at Chennai on January 18. A host of prizes awaits the winners of the Kochi round, sponsored by the likes of Kenstar, FuelMag, Citizen and Music World. Participants are expected to register at the cafes before the evening of January 4. A registration fee of Rs 200 will be charged per team of students while corporate registration fee will be Rs 400 per team. The quiz, which is being sponsored by consumer electronics major BPL, carries a prize of Rs 50,000 for the winning team at Chennai, while the runner-up will take home Rs 25,000 in cash. The Kochi-based Casino group is another national sponsor of the event. The winners will also enjoy a three day-two night free stay at any one of the group's six properties in Kerala.
