Welding symposium from Feb. 22

HYDERABAD: The Indian Society of Welding (IWS) is organising a two day International welding Symposium on `Emerging Trends in Welding' on February 22 and 23 at the Hitex exhibitions grounds.

The two-day symposium would focus on areas such as robotics and automation in welding, information technology and its application, arc and advance welding processes and equipments, hard facing and reformation technologies and training and education.

The symposium would also organise an exhibition `Essen Welding India-2003' by Cidex Trade fairs, India. It would provide a technical forum for well-known international and national experts to deliberate on key issues in various welding and allied processes, according to a press release.

The symposium organisers— IWS is a professional body with leading industries and educational and research institutes as its members, the release added.
