Rs 20 crore for six Tumkur towns

BANGALORE: The Central Government has released Rs 20 crore to develop six towns in Tumkur constituency under the Integrated Development of Small and Medium Towns (IDSMT) scheme, according to Mr Basavaraju, MP, Tumkur. Of the Rs 20 crore allotted, Tumkur town alone has received a grant of Rs 5 crore. Tiptur has received Rs 2 crore from the grant.
