The Hindu Business Line : `Speed' launched in Kerala

KOCHI: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd has launched its new generation high-performance petrol - Speed - in the Kerala market. Speed is a blend of petrol and world class multi-functional additives sourced from Chevron Oronite Company LLC of the US.

It contains unique deposit control additives that effectively remove harmful deposits from all fuel metering systems and components resulting in enhanced overall engine performance, Mr S.Radhakrishnan, Director (Marketing), BPCL, said.

Initially, Speed will be available in 28 select Pure for Sure outlets of BPCL in Kerala and will be extended to 10 more outlets within two weeks. It is priced at a nominal difference of Rs 1.26 per litre more than the normal petrol. Kochi is the 16th location and 12 more centres would be covered by March this year, Mr Radhakrishnan said.
