Frost & Sullivan unveils biotech subscription

Our Bureau

CHENNAI, March 5

FROST & Sullivan, a consultancy, announced the launch of a biotechnology subscription titled "Asia Pacific Biotechnology Strategist" today.

The consultancy indicated that the target audience for the subscription service would be Government bodies, investors and corporates that are interested in the biotech space.

According to Mr Aditya Sapru, Director for Asia Pacific Life Sciences Practice, the objective of the subscription service is to help companies understand where the markets are. The subscription service will be in the form of research reports, white papers and strategic insights for chief executives.

Frost & Sullivan consults in the biotechnology business. Mr Sapru said the subscription service was an attempt to create a more interactive method of engaging clients.

The consultancy declined to reveal the cost of the subscription service because it will be customised to meet clients' requirements. Mr Sapru believes that its subscription service was unique because it would identify specific opportunities in Asia for clients as against relatively more general reports published by other firms.
