Omaxe to build 300-bed hospital

NEW DELHI: Real estate firm Omaxe Construction Ltd has been awarded a contract to build a 300-bed super-speciality wing of the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital in the Capital.

The Rs 36-crore project has been awarded to the private company by the Public Works Department and would be completed in three years, a company release said here on Thursday.

The total built-up area of the new wing would be about 5,50,000 sq ft and it would house the cardiology, neurology, pathology, microbiology, gastroenterology and urology departments of the hospital.
