Nokia unveils new services

NOKIA has launched a range of entertainment and personalisation services such as downloadable ringing tones, picture messages, graphics, operator logos and games.

Nokia has tied up with Bollywood production houses like Harry Baweja, Rajshri Pictures Pvt Ltd, and R.S. Entertainment, besides the Indian Performing Rights Society (IPRS) for the ringtones.

"By leveraging Nokia's technical expertise in mobile phones technologies and our insight into consumer demands, we aim to deliver a total product offering to consumers with entertainment and personalisation services to complement users' mobile experience," said Mr Sanjeev Sharma, Managing Director, Nokia Mobile Phones India, at the launch in Mumbai. By adding mobility to the Internet, Nokia creates new opportunities for companies and further enriches the daily lives of people, he added.
