Indian Railways

The Railways needs to be restructured to bring in more hygiene and efficiency.

The following steps will bring go towards achieving the goal:

  • To prevent passengers from throwing garbage on the railway tracks, bins must be provided inside every compartment.

  • There are too many advertisements at the railway stations. All of them should be removed to create a better ambience.

  • There are also too many shops at stations. The vendors need to be regulated, and only those with proper licences should be allowed to sell the food items.

  • Steps should be taken to prevent beggars from entering compartments and creating problems for the passengers.

  • The toilets should be cleaned regularly and better seating facilities need to be provided in the ordinary compartments.

  • Only passengers who have valid tickets should be allowed to enter the reserved compartments, as otherwise those with unreserved tickets enter them and create many problems.

An additional coach can be attached for the unreserved passengers.
