Rubber prices rule steady

THE rubber market remained almost steady on Wednesday except RSS 4, which lost 50 paise to close at Rs 50 as against Rs 50.50 on Tuesday.

The international market at Bangkok closed at Rs 53.36, up by 6 paise against Rs 53.30 on Tuesday for RSS 3.

In the futures market, November delivery was traded at Rs 51.20 ( 51.71), December delivery at Rs 51.42 ( 51.90) and January delivery at Rs 51.56 (52.05) per kg for RSS 4. The spot market rates per kg on Wednesday were: RSS 4 50.00 (50.50), RSS 5 48.75 (48.75), ungraded 47.50 (47.50), ISNR 20 48.00 (48.00), latex 60% 39.00 (39.00).
