Infosys to be MNC staff-wise too

IN an effort to become a true multinational corporation by 2012, around 25 per cent of the manpower of Infosys Technologies Ltd will be non-Indians by then.

This was stated by Mr Satyendra Kumar, Vice-President, Quality of Infosys Technologies, while talking to the presspersons after attending the industry meet organised by Indian Statistical Institute.

The current staff strength of Infosys is 20,000, almost half of them have been recruited in the last 18 months.

The attrition rate in Infosys is at eight per cent, whereas the industry's average is 12 per cent. "By 2012 we want to have a true multinational culture in our organisation," he added.
