Radio City to air soaps

Mumbai , Nov. 20

RADIO City 91 FM will soon air soaps, beginning with the first episode of Star Plus' popular `Kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi' on November 24.

The serial will air Monday to Thursday at 11 a.m., while Neena Gupta's `Saans' will go on air at 11.30 a.m. for listeners in Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow and Bangalore, according to a release.

"Radio City believes in keeping in tune with listeners' choices," Mr Sumantra Dutta, COO, Radio City, was quoted as saying. "With the launch of these shows, Radio City plans to provide millions of radio listeners with entertainment never heard before on private FM radio."

Radio City is also launching a slew of new programmes, including `Apradhi kaun,' an interactive mystery series; `Darr,' a horror show; `Rahein na rahein hum' and `Flashback' on Bollywood films and interviews; `Return Ticket,' a retrospective countdown show; comedy shows such as `Jholmaal,' `Angrezi Talking,' `Hakka Bakka,' and `Wholesale Gudgudee'.
