Hyderabad , Nov. 21

RUDRA Centre, the Nagpur-based organisation engaged in promoting usage of Rudraksha, the natural bead believed to be possessing medicinal and spiritual properties, is organising a ten-day exhibition-cum-sale at the Ravindra Bharathi from Saturday, the second time this year.

According to the Rudra Centre Chief, Mr Kamal Narayan Seetha, the first exhibition held in the city during June this year evoked significant response and appreciation.

"We are organising this exhibition in the city to offer the public another opportunity to get the powerful beads in their purest form. It would also enable us offer services to the earlier clients. Its like after sales service."

The team of experts under the leadership of Mr Seetha would offer services such as authentication of rudraksha that people had already procured and suggest combination of malas that could be made on the spot by the artisans.

Cashing in on the growing popularity of rudrakshas, over 1,700 Web sites were currently engaged in offering online shopping services selling rudrakshas, while some of the multinational jewellery majors like Intra Gold have recently introduced rudraksha jewellery, Mr Seetha said.

Rudra Centre offers counselling and free recommendation apart from giving literature to educate people on rudrakshas so that they could derive maximum benefits and not get duped by unscrupulous traders selling fake beads, Mr Seetha said.

"During this exhibition, our experts would not only check the purity of beads free of cost, but also enlighten people on usage of the same, how and what to wear and rituals to follow."
