Airlines Marketing - Promotions & Offers BA unveils discount offer on Kolkata route Ashwini Phadnis
New Delhi , Nov. 21 FLY with British Airways (BA) non-stop and direct to London from Kolkata every Wednesday till December 31 this year and get 33 per cent off on the printed airfare in economy class and a 50 per cent on a business class ticket. Besides, a passenger flying from Kolkata on Wednesday with BA and travelling onwards to the US, Canada and Europe can also look forward to getting a 50 per cent discount on business class and 33 per cent off on economy class tickets. Sources told Business Line that passengers, to avail themselves of the offer, will have to book their tickets before December 7 and complete their outward journey before December 31 this year. However, passengers availing themselves of the offer can complete their return journey by March 31 next year. Besides, passengers purchasing a `World Traveller' plus or the airlines' premium economy class ticket will also get 50 per cent off on the published fares. The special offer is valid for one-way or return journeys. BA recently re-launched its Wednesday flight from Kolkata, thereby offering the passengers from eastern part of the country the opportunity of flying three times a week directly to London. The airline had recently launched a similar offer on its flights from Chennai with passengers travelling by first class getting 50 per cent off on the normal published fare on flights to the UK, Europe, the US, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean.
