Kochi , Dec. 3

FOR the first time in Kerala, State Bank of India (SBI) will be hosting a personal banking festival from December 5 to 7 by bringing together builders, automakers and education institutions under one umbrella.

During the three-day festival at Ernakulam Town Hall, where the participants would display their products and services, the SBI would be sanctioning loans on the spot for those people who come with the necessary documents. For others, in-principle approval would be given which can be availed within three months.

The bank has waived all processing charges for loans taken during this period, according to an official release.

SBI has made arrangements for opening of deposit accounts, issue of ATM cards, etc., at the venue itself.

Its subsidiaries, SBI Life, SBI Mutual Fund and SBI Card, will also participate and arrangements have been made to accept applications for the various products at the venue.

Besides, an SBI ATM would be installed there for the public to get familiar with the various facilities offered by ATMs.
