Software Marketing - New Products & Services Magma launches `IC Excellence' Our Bureau
BANGALORE: Magma Design Automat Inc, a leading provider of chip design solutions, has launched its `IC (integrated circuits) Excellence' initiative in India. The programme aims at training existing designers on cutting edge technology to meet current market requirements, enabling designers to focus on product innovation by automating IC implementation and at embedding the latest technology in universities' engineering curricula to build IC design strength. Magma will also donate IC design software to leading engineering institutions, launch IC Physical Design PG Diploma course with leading VLSI (very large scale integration) training institutions in India, collaborate with leading corporations, and partner with the Government of Karnataka and the Department of IT, Government of India, to achieve these shared objectives. Broadcom India has agreed to partner with Magma Design Automation India in this venture.
