Pakistan to host SAARC body meet

PAKISTAN will host a meeting of the Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA) at Lahore during February 11-13.

The meet would finalise the design and launch of the South Asian Quality Assurance and Accreditation System for Business Schools in the seven South Asian nations.

The AMDISA initiative will prepare leading B-Schools in South Asia to be globally competitive, enabling mobility of its faculty and scholars worldwide, according to Mr T.V. Raghu, Executive Secretary, AMDISA, a SAARC recognised body.

The Indian delegation for the upcoming meeting would be led by Dr Dharni P. Sinha, Founder President of AMDISA & Chairman, COSMODE Consultants, based in Hyderabad. It would also include, Dr M. Rammohan Rao, former Director of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore, Prof. Y.K. Bhushan, former Director of NMIMS, Mumbai, Dr T. N. Kapoor, former Vice-Chancellor, University of Punjab, Chandigarh, and Dr Pandu Ranga Rao, Director of the ICFAI Business Schools, Hyderabad.
