MoU to assist SHGs market products

THE District Supply and Marketing Society at Pudukottai, near here, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Tamilnadu Small and Tiny Industries Association, Chennai and Friedrich - Naumann Foundation (Germany) Service Centre (TFSC) for enhancing the marketability of self-help groups products.

According to the memorandum, signed int Chennai last month, TFSC will offer services including consultancy to enable DSMS carry out commercial transactions and guide the DSMS and the identified SHGs on procedural matters, quality, packaging, building market contacts, brand creation, trade mark registration and activate Rural bazaar.com to promote SHG products through the web
