IT majors to take part in Gitex

HYDERABAD: Reliance Infocomm, Satyam Computer and Hindustan Lever Ltd have confirmed their participation at the forthcoming GITEX Hyderabad 2004 during January 12-14, according to organisers of the IT event Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

Microsoft, HSBC, ADP Wilco, Iomega, STPI, HYSEA, L&T Infocity, BSNL, Elcot of Tamil Nadu, Dubai Internet City, SAIF Zone, Sharjah, IT&C Department, Andhra Pradesh and DIT Karnataka among others would be participating in the exhibition this year.

The DWTC General Manager, Exhibitions, Leasing and Property, Mr Abdulla T. Qassem, in a statement said: "The growing interest from multinationals based in India has been encouraging for our show as more international exhibitors from the Middle East, USA and the Far East are displaying a keenness to participate."
