Broiler chicken sales high in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The consumption of broiler chicken in Hyderabad is of the order of 1,50,000 birds on working days and a whopping 4 lakh birds on Sundays and holidays.

Giving this statistics, the All India Broiler Farmer's Marketing Cooperative Ltd said that even on February 1, the sale was as high as 4 lakh in Hyderabad, despite the recent media reports on the consumption of broiler chicken. Bromark, which sought details of the supply from leading broiler suppliers, announced details to state that things were normal.
