F-Ins platform for insurance firms

FAST Forward Technologies (FFT), a Singapore-based software solutions provider for financial and insurance sector with a development cum support centre in Hyderabad, has announced the development of a framework termed F-Ins that enables insurance companies and its stakeholders bring in efficiencies. The Regional Director of FFT, Mr. P.S. Iyer, told Business Line that the Indian insurance sector was poised for growth where an entire chain of players have come in including intermediaries and brokerage firms"With the company's framework, the customers, the shareholders, various intermediaries, the agents, the sales force, the financiers and the employees, all get hooked up to this network. The framework is designed such that it can be easily deployed with minimum customisation.

The company has been working on the F-Ins software framework for the past six years," he said.

The company has thus far implemented this in two of the large insurance companies in Sri Lanka — the Janashakthi Insurance Company and the National Insurance Company and sees an untapped potential for its services in the emerging Indian market.
