HYDERABAD: The students of Aptech Computer Education and SSI Education, power brands of IT training major, Aptech Ltd, were on Tuesday handed over degrees at a convocation ceremony held here.

The Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Aptech Ltd, Mr Pramod Khera, said, "The IT industry is in a resurgent mood and leading IT companies are on a hiring spree. With the advantage of Aptech's industry relevant curriculum behind them, Aptechites will create a niche for themselves."

Mr A.M. Thimmiya, National Head - Aptech Computer Education and Mr T. Hanuman Chowdary, Advisor, Government of Andhra Pradesh for IT, and the Guest of Honour, Dr Atul Sen, Scientist F, In-charge - Knowledge Management Centre, Defence Research Development Laboratories, highlighted issues relating to emerging trends in the IT industry and the career opportunities in the resurgent IT industry.
